:: THE BIRTH OF CST, DARJEELING ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Birth of the Alumni Association took place in the School’s Multipurpose Hall on 20th September, 2007 with gathering of 95 ex-students comprising of old and new residing in Darjeeling. There were alumnus way back to 1961 and also the recent graduates of 2007. On this historic day, all of them took unanimously taken decision about the aims and objectives of this association. All of them introduced themselves in turnwise and finally ten executive members were elected with the traditional offering of scarves and a group photographs of executive members was taken.

:: THE NEED OF ALUMNI
The need for such an association was felt by many for several years and finally it got crystallized on 20th September,2007 after a strong initiative was taken by a few ex-students who visited the school and the same was coincided with a proposal of the school.

Long after passing out from the school, many of us feel a strong string of attachment to our alma mater and feel nostalgia of our days in school with our friends. We have lost touch with many of our school mates due to distance and in the midst of our daily routine work. Besides a sense of gratitude towards the school and an urge to contribute in whatever capacity remains imbedded deep in many hearts. Thus came up this alumni association which will give us an opportunity to bring all childhood friends together and to contribute the school development. Even to help ex-students to whom life had not favourable and who are in dire need of some help.
