| Aims and Objectives |
The Central School for Tibetans Administration was set up as an autonomous organization by a resolution of the government of India, Ministry of Education and Youth services (New Ministry of Human resource Development) in 1961 and was registered under the societies registration act (XXI of 1860). Main objectives of CTSA are following :

To establish and carry out the administration and management of C.S.T. in India |

| b) |
To prevent and promote Tibetan religion, culture, Heritage and identity. |
|
| |
|
|
| c) |
To control and supervise education, discipline, boarding, lodging, health and hygiene and general progress of the students and staff in CTSA, School. |

| d) |
To get affiliation of the schools with any association, society or body which conducts public examinations for the purpose of preparing students for such examinations. |

|
|
| e) |
To build, construct and maintain hostels schools or buildings and to other buildings and to provide and equip the same for the use to which each building is to be put up to. |

|
| f) |
To give loans, scholarships, free-ship prizes, monetary and other assistance to the students of the school under the administration to help them in their studies. |
|
| |
|
|
| g) |
To start, conduct, print, publish and exhibit magazine, periodical newspaper, pamphlet considered desirable for the promotion of administration. |
